Towards the beginning of this year I wrote a blog about how I wanted to explore other opportunities to benefit my career - and I'm happy to share that I've since been offered a role at Atlassian, and will be flying down to Sydney for their Software Engineering Internship in November.
I'm keen to meet like-minded and similar-aged people at Atlassian. I've lived in Brisbane with my family all my life and have only visited Sydney and Melbourne once (for raves xD). I look forward to living alone, exploring, eating, making friends, and adulting.
I'm currently on semester break and I've now only two semesters of university remaining; I've felt that time goes by faster the older I get. I also turn 21 soon, which feels unreal...
I'm leaving Brisbane for a trip to Vietnam tomorrow night, which I'm especially excited for since I've never been overseas. I've been restraining myself from perusing the country online since I want to experience as much culture shock as possible. I'll be meeting up with my mum's side of the family from Switzerland whom I've never met before as well, so I'm very very excited.
